Welcome to my world!
My name is Rachel Alana, and I'm a beach kid from a small town in Orange County. I've been drawing as long as I can remember. Some of my favorite things to draw when I was young were ballet dancers, sea creatures, and the characters from the Magic School Bus. My tastes and skills have expanded since then, but at the heart my goal as an artist is still the same. I strive to make my art engaging and fun--both for myself and for the viewer.
I'm crazy about books, museums, architecture, gardens, and the ocean, and usually one or more of these things will find their way into my work. I also have a lifelong obsession with drawing people . . . to me, they're the most interesting subjects of all!
